This Eaton Cutler-Hammer product, the D100DCR40, is a programmable controller. These are analog capable models with a computer network of up to 16 units. These D100DCR40 programmers are handheld and IBM software enabled. The programmer module D100DCR40 is used to enter the information through the keyboard into the controller. This keyboard may be the hand-held programmer or a computer keyboard. The programmer may be used to introduce program elements and functions as well. These programmed controllers, after being programmed by the D100DCR40 programmers, are used for various tasks as simple relays, replacing them with minimum I/O to perform a variety of control and data acquisition functions. This series of D100 programmers can block and trace the monitor as well as show and track the power flow. Also, the extensive comment capability of these D100DCR40 programmers allows full documentation.
The D100 module series has 16 timers and 16 counters for it to function properly. The D100DCR40 module will program the controllers with a scan time of around 8 milliseconds per 1K of memory. The I/O range per system is 20 to 80, and the discrete value for the same is 80 maximum. The D100DCR40 works with a family of controllers that range from 14 I/O (8 input/6 output) to 120 I/O (72 input/48 output). These controllers are 14 I/O, 20 I/O, 40 I/O and 40 I/O high speed. Additionally, these controllers can be attached to the expanders to create systems that are capable of meeting any application needs. A variety of software can also be used for this module’s programming purposes, depending upon the individual need.
