The Eaton S801R13N3S Non-combination Open Soft Starter operates with 135 Amps and a 47-63 Hz Operating Frequency. It has 3 Poles and No option.
The S801R13N3S soft starter from the Eaton Corporation is a non-combination soft starter. It is part of the Eaton S801 line of Intelligent Technology (IT) soft starters which is designed to be a series of very compact soft starters and which can control the deceleration and acceleration of 3-phase motors. The S801 series soft starters can support current ranges from a minimum of 12 Amps to a maximum of 1000 Amps and it can be installed in enclosed control applications or in motor control centers. When used for pump control, the soft stopping control on the S801 series soft starters provides a smooth transition in the motor stopping process and it completely eliminates the effect known as “the water-hammer effect” which can damage pumps, valves, and pipes.
The S801R13N3S soft starter is a 3-pole device rated for 135 Amps of current. It is designed to operate with 3-phase motors in a 3-lead (delta) configuration. The output power ratings of the motors which can be used with the S801R13N3S soft starter at 50 Hertz frequency and at 230 Volts AC, 380 to 480 Volts AC, and 440 Volts AC are 40, 63, and 80 kilowatts, respectively. The power ratings of the motors which can be used with the S801R13N3S soft starter at 200 Volts AC, 230 Volts AC, 460 Volts AC, and 575 Volts AC at 60 Hertz frequency are 40, 50, 100, and 125 Horsepower, respectively. The S801R13N3S soft starter comes with no additional options and it supports standard soft starter overload protection. Protection features available on the S801R13N3S soft starter include excessive temperature protection which shuts the unit down at 110 degrees Celsius, a selectable jam protection feature which trips the unit to prevent motor damage, and a stall protection feature which trips the unit when the connected motor cannot achieve the rated speed within the defined ramp period.
