The S811V10N3S soft starter is an open non-combination soft starter produced by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The S811V10N3S soft starter is a scalable 3-phase motor acceleration solution that offers advanced diagnostics, maximizes motor uptime, and delivers consistent performance. It operates at 200 to 600 Volts AC voltage and it has power ratings of 315 kilowatts at 230 Volts AC and 50 Hertz and 400 Horsepower at 230 Volts and 60 Hertz. This is the most powerful soft starter in the Eaton S811 Intelligent Technology series of solid-state soft starters. It can deliver 1000 Amps to the motor that connected to its output. This is why this device must be handled with special care to avoid electric shock and burns. Only qualified technicians should install and do maintenance work on this unit. Always disconnect the power before carrying out any work on this device.
The Eaton S811V10N3S soft starter allows for integration into industrial automation networks over its Quick Connect ports. It supports the Ethernet and DeviceNet protocols. This motor starter features the standard soft-start modes which are the voltage ramp, current limit, and the selectable kick start. The S811V10N3S soft starter’s LCD provides status information and shows the control parameters to the users. With the programming buttons, the users can set up all the protection mechanisms included in the system. For example, the users can adjust the current trip value or the high voltage detection limit. The device is an AC-rated motor speed controller that has the UL, CSA, CE, and IEC certifications. It has dimensions of 281 millimeters by 421 millimeters by 187 millimeters, and its total weight is 91 kilograms without lugs (the lugs weigh around 12 kilograms). The S811V10N3S soft starter has 15 G of resistance to shocks.
