The ED3125 circuit breaker from Series C by Eaton has a Type F frame and a molded case. This 3-pole circuit breaker has a 125 Amps maximum continuous current rating at 40 degrees Celsius and a 65 kAIC interruption rating at 240 Volts AC input voltage. This type ED circuit breaker uses a maximum voltage of 240 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC which includes terminals on load end only. The circuit breakers with the F frame are equipped with load terminals only by default and these terminals are in compliance with standards such as the UL 486A and the UL 486B. Generally, the line and load terminals are built as a wire connecting means where special ranges of continuous current ratings and types of wires are required. The F-frame circuit breaker has a Series C NEMA mark and it features cable in/cable out. Besides that, the ED3125 model has a standard panel mounting option and it features a fixed thermal-magnetic trip. These circuit breakers from Eaton can work with various accessories to further extend their capabilities, and depending on a number of poles in the circuit breaker, there are different combinations of supplementary devices/features that can be added.
Since the ED3125 is a 3-pole circuit breaker, the supported internal accessories for it are auxiliary switches 1A and 1B and auxiliary switches 2A and 2B on the left or right side and with only one internal accessory per pole. In addition to that, the available external accessories for this kind of circuit breaker are the end cap kit, control wire terminal kit, keeper nut, connectors for multiple wires, hardware for base mounting, and the end covers and shields for the terminal, interphase barriers, various interlocks, plug-in adapters, and other combinations, all in either the left, center, or right position. Besides this, the non-pad-lockable handle block external accessory on the center and the cylinder lock on the left are also available for the ED3125 circuit breaker. These circuit breakers can also be modified for special calibration, treatment for moisture fungus, marine application and for freeze-tested circuit breakers.
