The Eaton EDB3100 circuit protection device is designed for harsh industrial environments and it serves as a very important and integral part of a safe and reliable system. The circuit breaker with the ED/EDB type is part of Series C and this model comes with a molded case and F type of frame. The product is delivered as a complete breaker with both fixed thermal and magnetic trip units, and also with load side terminals. The EDB3100 model is a three-pole version and its specifications include an interrupting rating of 22 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, an output current of 100 Amps and an input voltage of 240 Volts AC or 125 Volts DC. Besides that, the operating frequency of this model is at 50 to 60 Hertz. This UL listed and HACR rated device is primarily intended for circuit protection for low-voltage power distribution systems and used to prevent the failures that may occur in regard to various current anomalies that could lead to equipment damage and risks for the people that are operating the system.

The EDB3100 protection device should be installed in locations that are dry and not exposed to corrosion, or to temperatures below 40 degrees Celsius. If necessary, the users can request a special calibration that could extend the capabilities of the device in regard to withstanding more drastic temperatures.
