The molded case circuit breaker (MCCB) known as the EDB3175 belongs to Series C of protective devices manufactured by Eaton. This series offers many different breakers for various applications. It is up to the users to collect the necessary information and to determine the requirements of a system that needs to be expanded with the functionalities of this component. The purchase of such a product will reduce the overall costs, provide much-needed flexibility and reliability, and also increase the safety of the system. In comparison with Eaton’s Series G, Series C has fewer options, but the users should seriously consider the integration of one of the circuit breakers from this series since they are a satisfactory solution for most of the applications.
