The EDH2125 is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the EDH Type of molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker features 2 poles, 1 operating phase, 125 Amps of current, 240 Volts AC, 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, bolt-on long-time and instantaneous trip functions and load side lug terminals. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker is contained in the Frame-F enclosure type. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker can be configured with a close-coupled handle mechanism that is mounted directly to the circuit breaker. The close-coupled handle mechanism is designed for use in a shallow enclosure where the through-the-door type mechanism is not applicable. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker feature a rotary handle mechanism which includes a “lock off” handle for preventing the circuit breaker from turning on when it is in the off position and it also indicates the reset, on, tripped, and off positions.
The Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker's rotary handle mechanism operates in a simple yet robust design to enhance the easy operation and installation of the circuit breaker. The external handle’s lock operational devices are all metallic to ensure sustainability. The building-up of the contaminant which might hinder the Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker operation is prevented by the metal-on-metal interface that is between the shaft and the handle, while UV and chemical agent-resistant substances give protection to the handle against heat and fading when it is exposed to direct sunlight. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker handle mechanism also has stand-off support which enables the users to operate the circuit breaker with a gloved hand smoothly. The Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker is equipped with GFR relay that has zone-selective interlocking circuitry for interlocking several relays within the same system, and this enables the relay that senses a ground fault to instantly correct the ground fault by tripping the Cutler-Hammer EDH2125 circuit breaker.
