The EDH3100 is a molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker is part of Series C of the EDH Type of molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker features 3 poles, 3 phases, 100 Amps of current rating, 240 Volts AC, 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, and bolt-on mounting. The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker is contained in a Frame F enclosure type. The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker is equipped with a cylinder lock which internally locks the trip bar in the tripped position, preventing the circuit breaker from switching on unintentionally. The cylinder lock is pre-installed on the left pole only of the Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker cover. The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker is externally locked in the off position by using the key interlock. When the user locks the key interlock, an extended deadbolt prevents the circuit breaker handle from moving unnecessarily.
The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker can be mechanically interlocked when it is integrated with another EDH Type of circuit breaker by using the sliding bar interlock. The sliding bar interlock is mounted on the enclosure cover between the circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker is equipped with a terminal shield that offers protection against accidental contact with live line side terminations. The terminal shield is fabricated from a highly dielectric insulating material and fastens on the access openings of the front terminal. The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker feature a control wire terminal kit that is designed for taping off the control power from the circuit breaker by utilizing the supplied male end of a quick disconnect. The circuit breaker keeper nut slides onto the line/load conductor of the Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker and serves as a threaded adapter for a conductor to allow other bolt-on connectors. The Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker’s multiwire connectors meant for load side end terminals are designed for distributing the load from the Cutler-Hammer EDH3100 circuit breaker to other multiple modules in the absence of separate terminal blocks for distribution.
