The EDS2100 is an Eaton C Series Complete Molded Case Circuit Breaker. This unit features an “F” sized frame with an interrupting capacity of 42 kAIC at 240 Volts AC. The EDS2100 also comes with an ED Circuit Breaker Type with a frequency rating of 50 or 60 Hertz. The EDS2100 is also a complete breaker circuit breaker frame type, featuring the load side terminals. The module comes with a Voltage rating of 240 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC, while the Amperage rating for the module is around 100 Amps with a Fixed thermal trip type and a fixed magnetic trip type. The EDS2100 comes with a 3.38-inch length, a height of 4.13 inches, and a width of 4.13 inches. It has a weight of 3 pounds and it has a UL listed Certification. This module features an optional shunt trip, an optional undervoltage release feature, and an auxiliary switch. The mounting type for the EDS2100 is a panel mounting; this module also comes with the 22.2 CSA standard device. The EDS2100 has a standard interrupting capacity and features a bolt-on, complete with a non-interchangeable trip, LI-Long-Time, and instantaneous trip functionality. The load side lug terminal is also another important feature. This module’s “F” Frame Circuit breaker is HACR rated and is a High-Intensity Discharge use device, suitable for reverse feed use. It is commonly used for busway applications, the motor control center, and the switchboard, as well as panelboards, where it is used to provide dependable branch circuit protection.
