The EDS3110 circuit breaker with a molded case is manufactured and designed by Eaton and it belongs to Series C. The Series C line is a well-known product series from the well-known manufacturer of devices made for the protection of industrial systems. The main goal behind this breaker and similar circuit breakers is to offer a reliable solution for systems that need to be secured. The reduced costs that this product series brings will enable the users to explore other options that are also vital for the overall system. This series of products offers circuit breakers of different sizes, with different frames, and with different ratings that are required for different applications.
This circuit breaker is a complete breaker with terminals that are the load side type and an F frame that is typical for this kind of component. The 3-pole circuit breaker features a fixed thermal/magnetic trip unit type and a frequency rating of 50/60 Hertz. The EDS3110 breaker has a current of 110 Amps and input voltage rating of 240 Volts AC/125 Volts DC. The interrupting rating of the breaker is 42 kAIC at 240 Volts AC. The ED circuit breaker is listed and approved by UL and CSA, and even though this domestic circuit breaker version offers fewer options than other models, it is still an excellent choice for almost any application. The EDS3110 circuit breaker should not operate outside of a 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) temperature range. The only exception to this ambient temperature is in cases where the circuit breaker is specially calibrated to operate in a -20 to 70 degrees Celsius (-4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit) temperature range. The EDS3110 breaker is 127 millimeters (5 inches) wide, 127 millimeters (5 inches) high and 190.5 millimeters (7.5 inches) long, and its weight is around 1.95 kilograms (4.3 pounds).
