About EHD1100

The EHD1100 is a Single-Pole Molded Case Circuit Breaker with a non-interchangeable trip unit manufactured by Cutler-Hammer (Eaton). It belongs to C-series of Eaton’s MCCBs that are well-known for compact housing design, high breaking capacity, and short flashover distance. This is a thermal-magnetic type of circuit breaker that uses bimetal for overcurrent protection and electromagnetic assembly to provide short-circuit safety to the users of electrical installations. It can be applied to installations with 277 Volts AC maximum voltage or with 125 Volts DC maximum voltage.  Its DC ratings are valid only for the non-inductive electrical circuits. The EHD1100 brings the necessary protection to your electrical circuits and provides a safe working environment to your equipment. After implementing this protective device in your industrial automation system, you will significantly reduce maintenance costs and downtimes of your system.

The Cutler-Hammer EHD1100 has the current capacity of 100 Amps. The module is delivered in a standard molded case and is attached to the panelboard over a bolt-on connection. The device is quickly installed, but you should take some time and read the instructions carefully before starting the installation process to avoid any possible hazards. You are free to install this MCCB horizontally or vertically in the electrical cabinet. The temperature inside of the cabinet must be maintained between -20 and 70 degrees Celsius (-4 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit). The EHD1100 weighs approximately 0.9 kilograms (2 pounds), with total dimensions of 86 x 162 x 35 millimeters (3.38 x 6.00 x 1.38 inches). It is also CSA, EIC and UL certified.
