About EHD2025

The EHD2025 is a molded case circuit breaker module manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. This is a generic 2-pole circuit breaker with the current rating of 25 Amps which can be used for a variety of applications.  The maximum current rating is valid only if the breaker is working at temperatures lower than 40 degrees Celsius. The EHD2025 is a C Series MCCB with the rating below 30 Amps which means that this device is suitable for HID (High-Intensity Discharge) use. The circuit breaker is suitable to be integrated into electrical circuits with a voltage lower than 480 Volts AC. Because it is a generic module, users cannot change its trip unit. The tripping characteristics for the device remain the same whether it is working at 50 or 60 Hertz.

The Cutler-Hammer EHD2025 is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker with a 14 kAIC interrupting rating at 480 Volts AC. The casing of the device is made to withstand tough industrial environments and to give protection to the internal circuitry of the breaker. The module has modest dimensions of 3.38 inches x 2.75 inches x 6.00 inches (86 millimeters x 70 millimeters x 152 millimeters) and it can easily fit in all sizes of electrical cabinets. Users can use it in cabinets with an internal temperature lower than 70 degrees Celsius. This MCCB is a smart choice for protecting panelboards, switchboards, and motor control circuits. There are many applications in industrial automation for the device, but the most important include use in distribution systems and in switchgears. The EHD2025 is a lightweight component which makes it a great candidate for use within the portable equipment.
