The Cutler-Hammer EHD2030 is a two-pole molded case circuit breaker. The device is a complete breaker that has thermal and magnetic trip unit controls that are not adjustable. The EHD2030 accepts 3-phase voltages of up to 480 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. The interrupting capacity of the device at these voltages are 14 kAIC at 480 Volts AC and 10 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. The EHD2030 belongs to Series C of the Eaton Corporation/Cutler-Hammer molded case circuit breakers. It can conduct up to 30 Amps of current (this value is calibrated at 40 degrees Celsius). Users can install this device horizontally or vertically. The device is designed to break current flow with its high-speed "blow-open" action in the case of excessive current or a short-circuit. The device is used for HID (High-Intensity Discharge) and it can be used for reversed feed supply too.
The EHD2030 is a reliable device, with efficient power delivery in normal operations and with fast protecting action in the cases of overcurrent, short circuits, and overloads that emerge from faulty design. Its housing protects the operator because the end user does not have access to the internal mechanisms of the device.
