The Eaton Cutler-Hammer EHD2035 is a Molded Case Circuit Breaker. It is a 35 Amp rated molded case circuit breaker with extensive options, high efficiency, and is delivered in a highly-compact plastic housing. It is designed by Cutler-Hammer to provide reliable, confident, and superior electricity protection for the power supplying electrical cabinets and industrial automation systems. The EHD2035 is setting new standards in the low-voltage protecting equipment industry. The Eaton EHD2035 belongs to utility-type C series of molded case circuit breakers with 14 to 18 kA breaking capacity which depends on the voltage applied to the device. The maximum voltage that will not damage the module is 480 Volts AC. The EHD2035 is already proven as a solution in conventional building power distribution systems, and it is also widely used in OEM machinery industry. It is a 2-pole device, and it comes with a moving handle made of plastics which is specially designed to reduce the failure rate.
There are two mounting options for the EHD2035. You can use a DIN rail or you can use a bolt-on connection to the panel. You can additionally install accessories like a shunt trip module that will enable remote tripping of the device, or an under voltage release module that will trip the unit when there is a voltage drop below an acceptable level. This device is designed to withstand a harsh environment while keeping its functionality. This device rating is calibrated at 40 degrees Celsius, but the module keeps its performance in surroundings with temperatures between -20 and 70 degrees Celsius (-4 to 168 degrees Fahrenheit).
