The FD1020 F-Frame Circuit Breaker by Eaton Cutler-Hammer is a series C circuit breaker with a non-adjustable trip unit, which provides overcurrent and circuit overload protection in low voltage applications. This circuit breaker, like all Eaton Cutler Hammer Series C Circuit breakers, is designed with 3 integral components which are all enclosed in a molded casing, and it has a standard load end terminal only, which provides ease of installation. The FD1020 has a non-interchangeable trip unit made of a thermal magnetic breaker, which provides trip on overload, and it also has a trip-resistant operating mechanism, which ensures reliable protection. The FD1020 has a continuous current rating of 20 Ampere suitable for High-Intensity Discharge (HID) use, and it has a voltage rating of 277 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC, with a net interrupting rating of 35 KAIC. The FD1020 is a single pole circuit breaker with 3 integral internal components, which are enclosed in a molded case, and it manually operated using PUSH-TO-TRIP buttons and circuit breaker handle. The FD1020 has a trip element made of thermal magnetic breaker which trips the integral operating mechanism in the event of a prolonged overload or short-circuits current, and it operating mechanism provides a means of opening and closing the breaker contact. It has an operating temperature limit of 60 degree Celsius without hindering functions, and it has a shipping dimension of 35.1 x 152.4 x 86 millimeters (1.38 x 6.0 x 3.38 inches) with an average weight of 0.9 Kilogram (2.0 pounds).
