The FD2110 Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breaker is an Eaton Cutler Hammer designed Series C general purpose Molded Case circuit breaker in the Frame F series of completely assembled breakers with a thermal-magnetic trip unit, used for circuit protection. It is designed with 2 load side Copper/Aluminium Steel pressure terminals with terminals, and also with 2-pole wiring configuration, and like every Frame F breaker, it is designed for reverse feed use. This breaker like all Frame F breakers has a maximum rated operating voltage of 600 Volt, with 35 KAIC rated interrupting capacity, and it has a nominal current rating of 110 Amps. The FD2110 consist of a thermal-magnetic trip unit, load end only terminals, and a trip-free operating mechanism, already assembled within a sealed insulated enclosure FD frame.
The trip unit comprises of trip thermal and magnetic trip elements, which provides both thermal and magnetic trip actions, via load heated bimetal, and series arranged electromagnet. The operating mechanism provides means of operating the breakers contact, by preventing breaker’s contact from being held close together during circuit overload, and it also indicates whether the breaker is Tripped, OFF, or ON. The FD2110 is designed to operate within a temperature limit of 40 degree Celsius, a non-condensing relative humidity range of 0 to 95%. The FD2110 is designed to meet UL, CE, BS, AS, and CSA standards, and is shipped with an average weight of 1.4 kilograms and a total dimension of 70.0 x 152.4 x 86.0 millimeters.
