The FD3050 is a Cutler-Hammer circuit breaker manufactured by the Eaton Corporation. It is a general purpose circuit breaker that can be used for domestic and commercial applications. It comes from the C Series of molded case circuit breakers. The FD3050 can be used for DC and AC systems. It is a 3-pole breaker module with a DC voltage rating of 250 Volts and a rating of 600 Volts AC. As its name suggests, the FD3050 is rated at 50 Amps of current. Because of its three-pole capabilities, it is a useful option for three-phase systems in the industrial sector. Once tripped, the circuit can be used multiple times thanks to its 25 kilo-Amps interrupt capacity at 480 Volts AC. Furthermore, it can handle 65 kilo-Amps of interrupt capacity of 240 Volts AC and 10 kilo-Amps at 250 Volts DC.
The FD3050 keeps the load side isolated from surge currents, providing quality protection and a prolonged lifetime to the connected devices. This circuit breaker is quite compact with dimensions of only 4.9 inches x 4.9 inches x 7.7 inches. Hence, it can easily fit into small areas so that it can be installed in any industrial location.
