The FD3060 is a molded case circuit breaker made by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The FD3060 circuit breaker is a thermal magnetic type of circuit breaker. This type of circuit breaker is used whenever there is a chance that the site conditions where the breaker in use will interfere with the normal operation of the thermal overload feature. This includes cases like low temperatures which might prevent the thermal protection from tripping, the tripping of the thermal protection without an overload due to high temperatures, and also moisture which may affect the operation of the thermal protection mechanism by absorbing heat. The FD3060 is a Series C circuit breaker. The voltage rating for the FD3060 is 600 Volts AC at 50/60 Hertz, or 250 Volts DC. The circuit breaker has a current rating of 60 Amps at 40 degrees Celsius. The terminal type of the circuit breaker is a standard pressure load terminal.
