The FD3125 is a series C circuit breaker. Eaton Cutler Hammer is the sole manufacturer of this device. It has a fixed thermal-magnetic trip. It has a 125 Amperes current rating. The rating of 250 Volts DC and 600 Volts AC is given while manufacturing. A DIN Rail mount is used for mounting purposes. The FD3125 is a three-pole device & comes with load side and line side terminal. It is enclosed by a NEMA F- frame. It is an FD type molded case device. It has a running temperature of 40 degrees Celsius and a 50 to 60 Hertz frequency. The FD3125 has an interrupt rating of 65 K Ampere Integrated Circuit at 240 Volts AC and 35 K Ampere Integrated Circuit at 480 Volts AC.
The FD3125 is a three-phase device and comes with standard interrupting capacity. It has enhanced function like a Long-time trip and Instant trip. It is best suited in Single phase AC circuits & uses two safe poles for DC circuit. A lever is present to switch the device on and off. A red button in color and is used to see the tripping function and used over time to check the running procedure. It is widely used in huge industrial and big commercial buildings where the demand of electric power is high. It monitors the overall system and shuts down the electricity if an overload is detected in the current coming into the system.
