The FDB2045 is a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker that has been designed under the standards and specifications of the Eaton Corporation Series C product line of molded case circuit breakers. The Eaton Corporation FDB2045 thermal-magnetic circuit breaker belongs to the F Frame product line and contains an FBD breaker type. The switching mechanism used by the Eaton Corporation FDB2045 thermal-magnetic circuit breaker combines a bimetal strip that is in charge of the overcurrent and a magnet that responds to short-circuit currents. This combination is considered standard to most applications. The Eaton Corporation FDB2045 thermal-magnetic circuit breaker features 2 poles that are connected between them, these have the ability to detect and perform the tripping action. This tripping action stops the current flow and preserves the system and the equipment attached to this system.
