About FDB3080

Cutler-Hammer’s FDB3080 is an FDB type of molded case circuit breaker which is part of the Eaton C Series of circuit breakers. One of the best circuit breakers in the market, the FDB3080 is the best choice for low-voltage distribution systems that require circuit protection. The FDB3080 is a 3-pole circuit breaker that comes with motor circuit protectors. It features special temperature and frequency calibration options. The FDB3080 comes with a remotely controlled ground fault alarm unit as well as the cutting-edge IQ Sentinel microprocessor which monitors power readings in real time.

Running at 80 Amps, the input and output power ratings of the FDB3080 are 250 Volts DC and 600 Volts AC, respectively. The interrupt ratings of the FDB3080 are 18 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and 14 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The FDB3080 also features a plug-in adapter option that makes it compatible with various devices. The FDB3080 also comes with an LFD type of current limiter to handle power spikes and voltage fluctuations. It is both freeze-tested for extremely low temperatures as well as treated to prevent fungus growth and moisturization in its components. As with all other Eaton’s C Series circuit breakers, the FDB3080 is also an F frame molded case circuit breaker. The FDB3080 is a highly versatile circuit-breaker that has a wide range of application options other than standard industrial uses. The FDB3080 has a default panel type of mounting method, but it also comes with a DIN rail adapter for rail-type mounting as well.
