Manufactured by Eaton, the Series C FDB3150 molded case circuit breaker comes with an F-frame, a complete breaker, an FDB, a fixed magnetic trip type, and a fixed thermal trip type. It features 3 poles and runs on 150 Amps of current at 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. Its interrupting capacity is 18 kAIC at 240 Volts AC OR 14 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, with a load side frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz. Eaton’s FDB3150 circuit breakers offer enhanced performance in a much smaller space than the normal circuit breakers or any other comparable fusible devices normally do. It is a Series G Eaton circuit breaker that is UL, CE, CSA, KEMA, KEUR, and IEC rated. Some of the advantages of the Eaton FDB3150 circuit breakers include field-fit accessories and common accessories rated for up to 630 Amps of current. These circuit breakers also have electronic trip units ranging from 20 to 2500 Amps in current capacity.
It is UL-listed and also IEC-rated, with 30 mA ground fault/earth leakage modules. Besides, the FDB3150 circuit breaker has an inbuilt ground fault protection at 20 Amps. Series G circuit breakers can fit into 5 different frame sizes. The EG frames, JG frames, and the LG frames available, which are designed with space-saving in mind. RG and NG frames use the verified Eaton Series C RD and ND designs. Series G provides a wide range of interrupting capacities such as up to 200 kAIC at 480 Volts AC or 240 Volts AC. The FDB3150 Series G molded case circuit breakers also come in DC options. All the F-Frame circuit breakers by Eaton Cutler-Hammer are HACR rated. All the circuit breakers rated at 10 to 30 Amps are ideal for high-intensity discharge (HID) use. All the F-Frame circuit breakers are good for reverse feed applications.
