The Eaton Cutler-Hammer FDC3090 circuit breaker is a complete circuit breaker from Series C, which has products rated for the domestic market. Even though this product series offers fewer options than other series, it represents a series of standardized circuit protection devices that are essential if the users want a completely safe and reliable system. This FDC3090 circuit breaker will provide necessary protection from electrical irregularities such as current overloads and short circuits in environments where complex systems with many different electronic components are installed. Generally, the circuit breakers from this series, along with other similar devices from Eaton, are intended for integration into low-voltage power distribution systems to provide proper protection for any electrical device that is connected to it. These circuit breakers are available in several different frames and with different voltage and amperage ratings to meet the various requirements of industrial applications.
The FDC3090 molded case circuit breaker is UL listed and it includes load side terminals and a fixed thermal/fixed magnetic trip type. This circuit breaker features 3 poles and it is categorized as a complete circuit breaker with an F frame. The voltage rating of this device is 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC, so it is available for either an AC or DC power source.
