About FDC4030

The Eaton FDC4030 is a thermal magnetic circuit breaker that is manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 circuit breaker is part of the Series C Type FDC product line of the Eaton Molded Case Circuit Breakers. The Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 circuit breaker features 4-pole configuration, 30 Amps of current rating, 200 kAIC of interrupting rating at 240 Volts AC trip Amps, and a complete thermal-magnetic trip unit, and it is contained in an F-Frame type of enclosure for protection. The Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 circuit breaker switch acts as a small switch for the applications which require high current switching capabilities. The Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 thermal magnetic circuit breaker switch is made from the circuit breaker devices, and it has a high instantaneous automatic design for maximum efficiency and safety.

The Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 thermal magnetic circuit breaker is equipped with line and load terminals which allow secure wiring connection for specific ranges of continuous current and for the different types of wire available to the users. The Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 circuit breaker comes only with load terminals which are installed at the factory. The Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 circuit breaker is rated at 100% of its F-Frame size during assembly as recommended by the NEC and as long as the 90 degrees Celsius wire is connected at the 75 degrees Celsius ampacity. The position of the molded cross-bar which has the moving contact arms is controlled by the Eaton Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 circuit breaker auxiliary switch by providing the status information about the Cutler-Hammer FDC4030 circuit breaker.
