The Westinghouse Cutler-Hammer FDE316033 is an electronic circuit breaker with an F Frame. The circuit breaker is designed to be used in systems using a 3-phase power source. The circuit breaker has 3 poles. Also, the FDE316033 has an amperage rating of 160 Amps and it features load lug terminals only. The dimensions for the FDE316033 are 4.13 by 6.0 by 3.38 inches for the width, height, and depth. The FDE316033 has a molded case and it meets or exceeds the North American Standards. The circuit breaker belongs to the Series C family of molded case circuit breakers from Westinghouse. The Cutler-Hammer FDE316033 can be used to provide protection in a panelboard, motor control center, switchboard, and in a busway.
Note that the FDE316033 is factory-sealed, thereby eliminating the possibility of replacing the trip in the field. Apart from the trip unit, the internal components are not replaceable. Therefore, any signs of malfunctioning must be rectified by replacing the entire circuit breaker. The interrupt rating for the FDE316033 is capped at 18 KiloAmps of interrupt capacity at a voltage of 600 Volts AC and 35 KiloAmps interrupt capacity at a voltage of 480 Volts AC. The Eaton FDE316033 molded case electronic circuit breaker accommodates a bolt-on connection to secure it on a panel. The circuit breaker’s trip unit supports long-time and short-time functions. Having an F Frame, the FDE316033 can be used for reverse feed use. For monitoring and troubleshooting purposes, the FDE316033 has a handle which shows whether the circuit breaker is in the trip, on, or off position. When in the trip position, the handle has to be reset to continue providing protection to the system.
