About HFD1030

The Eaton HFD1030 is a complete HFD Series-C circuit breaker. The HFD1030 is HACR-rated and suitable for applications with high-intensity discharge and reverse feed requirements. HFD type circuit breakers are offered for 10 to 225 Amps applications. The single-pole HFD1030 has a current rating of 30 Amps and a voltage rating of 347 Volts AC and 125 Volts DC. It utilizes a fixed magnetic and fixed thermal trip module. The frequencies supported are 50/60 Hertz. Load side terminals are included with the circuit breaker.  At 240 Volts AC, the HFD1030 is rated for 100 kilo-Amps interrupting capacity and at 480 Volts AC it is rated at 65 kilo-Amps interrupting capacity.

The HFD1030 is UL-certified and it is therefore sealed at the factory after the installation of optional accessories. Where local codes permit, field installation of accessories can be performed. Un-mounted terminations and mounting hardware (where required) are provided in separate packages. Prior to installation, the suitability of the HFD1030 for installation requirements should be verified by comparing the system requirements with circuit breaker specifications. For the safety of the personnel involved in installation and maintenance, it is highly recommended that the HFD1030 be installed and serviced only when the circuit breaker is in the off position and the associated electrical systems have been de-energized. All local health and safety regulations and procedures should also be followed. The HFD1030 is an F-frame circuit breaker with a height of 152.4 millimeters, a width of 35 millimeters, and a depth of 85.8 millimeters. The weight of the device is 0.9 kilograms.
