About HFD2035

The HFD2035 is a 2-pole Type HFD circuit breaker manufactured by Westinghouse/Eaton/Cutler-Hammer. The circuit breaker operates at a class voltage of 600 Volts AC and it is HACR rated. The HFD2035, having an F frame type and being factory assembled, is suitable for reverse feed use. The circuit breaker has a high interrupting capacity of 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC. The HFD2035 is carefully conditioned for use with single-phase power supplies. The Eaton HFD2035 has a non-replaceable trip unit. With this type of trip unit, and with its factory assembly, the circuit breaker needs to undergo frequent supervisions which should include the manual tripping of the breaker to ascertain if the trip unit trips as required. Manual tripping is induced through the use of the push-to-trip button located below the trip handle.

The HFD2035 covers its internal components by using a molded case made from high-quality glass polyester which is resistant to fungus. Also, the case guards against moisture. Note that individual internal components are not fungus or moisture-resistant. The HFD2035 has terminals on the load side. The Westinghouse HFD2035 has a current rating of 35 Amps and it protects the circuit against overloads and underloads by using a thermal-magnetic combination which features long-time and instantaneous trip functions. The HFD2035 is of the Series C family. Circuits in these series are suitable for use in switchboards and motor control centers to provide main or branch circuit protection. The HFD2035, as with other Series C molded case circuit breakers, meets or exceeds the North American standards.
