About HFD2060

The HFD2060 is a C Series circuit breaker that is manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. The HFD2060 is classified under the molded case subcategory of the circuit breakers and it features a 2–pole circuit protector with a current rating of 60 Amps. The module also features an interrupt rating of 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 35 kAIC at 600 Volts AC, and 22 kAIC at 250 Volts DC. The net weight per unit at shipment is 3 pounds with shipping dimensions of 3.5 inches in height, 5 inches in width, and a length of 7 inches. Generally, the C Series circuit breakers by Cutler-Hammer come with current ratings of 15 to 2500 Amps. They are also high-speed circuit breakers with blow-open action and they are also available for the 600 Volts AC or also the 250 Volts DC systems.

These modules also have a capacity for current ratings of up to 2500 Amps and hence they outperform the standard IEEE ratings. Circuit breakers that are classified as C Series breakers feature thermal-magnetic breakers, electronic type trip breakers,  molded case switches, and motor circuit protectors, and they are specially designed to perform in engine generators and also in mining applications. The HFD2060 is an F frame circuit breaker and it is described as an HFD breaker type with a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz. The complete breaker features the load side terminal type and it is also a fixed thermal, fixed magnetic trip type of circuit breaker. While installing the HFD2060, it is important to make sure that the equipment is not energized because this can result in serious personal injury and damage to the equipment.
