The HFD2175 is one of the best mold case circuit-breakers in the market manufactured by Cutler-Hammer. It’s a two pole circuit breaker that is part of Eaton’s C-series device family. The HFD2175 is an excellent choice when it comes to circuit protection for complex and elaborate systems. It’s an electronic rms type trip breaker. As with all other trip breakers in the C-series, the HFD2175 also has multiple options when it comes to breaker modification. The casing of the HFD2175 is made from glass-polyester which makes it resistant to moisture and fungus. It is also resistant to temperatures up to -40 degree Celsius. At an Amperage rating of 175 Amps, the power ratings of the HFD2175 are 600 Volts AC and 250 volts DC respectively. This makes the HFD2175 circuit-breaker highly effective for high-intensity discharge use.
The HFD2175 is also equally effective when it comes to reverse feed use. The shunt trip provides remote controlled tripping options for the HFD2175. The circuit-breaker’s contact status information of the HFD2175 is relayed by an auxiliary switch which ensures accuracy and reduced trip time. For automatic trip operation monitoring, the HFD2175 comes with an alarm switch which is separate from manual and remote control switch. The HFD2175 is an F frame molded circuit breaker, and all the requisite installation parts are shipped along with the circuit-breaker. The HFD2175 also features the undervoltage release mechanism as well as Powernet and Zone Interlock kits. Like all other Cutler-Hammer products, the HFD2175 also comes with a one year warranty period.
