Cutler-Hammer’s HFD2225 is 225 Ampere mold case circuit-breaker which is part of the Eaton C-series circuit-breakers. One of the best circuit breakers in the market, the HFD2225 is the best choice for low voltage distribution systems that require circuit protection. The HFD2225 is a two pole circuit-breaker that comes with motor circuit protectors. It is both freeze tested for extremely low temperatures as well as treated to prevent fungus growth and moisturization. Featuring special temperature and frequency calibration options, the HFD2225 is a highly versatile circuit-breaker that has a wide range of application options other than standard industrial use. Running at 225 Amperes, the input and output power ratings of the HFD2225 are 250 Volts DC and 600 Volts AC respectively. The interrupt ratings of the HFD2225 are 100 kAIC at 240 Volts and 65 kAIC at 480 Volts respectively.
The HFD2225 also features a plug-in adapter option that makes it compatible with various devices. Being a thermal-magnetic trip type circuit-breaker, the HFD2225 also comes with an LFD type current limiter to handle power spikes and voltage fluctuations. It also comes with a remotely controlled ground faults alarm unit as well as the cutting-edge IQ Sentinel microprocessor which monitors power readings in real-time. Like all other Eaton’s C-series circuit-breakers, the HFD2225 is also an F frame molded case circuit breaker. It has a default panel type mounting but also comes with a DIN rail adapter for rail-type mounting as well. The length, height and width dimensions of the HFD2225 stand at 3.38 X 2.75 X 2.75 inches respectively.
