The HFD3100K is a highly reliable molded case switch designed by Eaton. It is part of the Series C family and it has 3 poles. This F Frame circuit breaker comes with a 100 Amps current rating and a frequency rating of 50 to 60 Hertz. It is available for systems with a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC and maximum current ratings of 2500 Amps. Besides, the module features a fixed thermal magnetic trip, making it suitable for use in applications requiring reverse feed or high-density discharge (HID). At 240 Volts AC, the HFD3100K’s interrupting capacity is 100 kiloamps, while at 480 Volts AC, it is 65 kiloamps. Another great thing about this HFD molded case switch is that it is outfitted with width per load (W/Load) end collars plus load side lug terminals, which make it more efficient and reliable. Whether users need dependable branch circuit protection for their panelboards, busways, switchboards, or their motor control center applications, Eaton’s HFD3100K is a good option. It is important to note that the HFD3100K molded case circuit breaker does not provide overcurrent protection and it comes with a non-automatic switch. The module is factory assembled and it comes complete with an F Frame, load terminals, and thermal trips as well as magnetic trips with non-interchangeable units. This makes it suitable for reverse feed use. Furthermore, this high-speed molded case switch is HACR rated, so the users are sure to get only the best outcomes.
