The Eaton JD3090 is the catalog number for a circuit breaker that provides the necessary protection mechanisms for protection from possible overcurrents like short circuits, ground faults, unbalanced or excessive loads, and other irregularities. The JD3090 circuit breaker comes with a molded case and it is part of Series C of the circuit breaker’s that are developed by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. These extraordinary circuit protection devices are made with 70 to 250 Amps of continuous amperage ratings at 40 degrees Celsius range and with 8 different frames that the users can choose from for different application demands. The available frames include the GD (15 to 100 Amps), JD (70 to 250 Amps), KD (70 to 400 Amps), LD (125 to 600 Amps), MDL (300 to 800 Amps), ND, and the RD OPTIM (400 to 2500 Amps). In addition to that, the Series C Eaton circuit breakers are available as 100% rated devices and with power distribution blocks combination ratings.
