The Cutler-Hammer KT2300T molded-case circuit-breaker enjoys a good reputation in the market for safety, efficiency, and reliability. Manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, the KT2300T is a slightly less powerful model than its predecessors and it is intended for less intensive voltage operations than its predecessors. The KT2300T also operates perfectly with special calibration options for ambient temperatures below 50 degrees Celsius. Tested and proven to be very suitable for marine applications, the KT2300T also come with additional special application breaker options. As part of Eaton’s C Series of circuit-breakers, the KT2300T is highly customizable with various internal accessories as well as with modified breakers when it is ordered.
The KT2300T is a Type HFD thermal-magnetic circuit-breaker with non-interchangeable trip units. The power ratings of the input and output of the KT2300T are 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC, respectively. The KT2300T has 2 poles. These calibrations also make the KT2300T applicable for frequencies other than the standard 50 to 60 Hertz frequency range. The KT2300T generates 65 kAIC at a steady voltage of 480 Volts AC. The line and load terminals of the KT2300T provide extensive connecting abilities. The line connecting abilities of the KT2300T work well with a wide range of current ratings and wire types at specific ranges. The KT2300T comes with the load terminals by default. The KT2300T also comes with a BIM (Breaker Interface Module) and an APM (Auxiliary Power Module). The KT2300T is an F Frame molded case circuit-breaker which requires a NEMA open type enclosure during installation. Installation accessories for the KT2300T such as end cap kits, plug nuts, and keeper nuts are all shipped out with the circuit breaker when it is ordered and they ship with no additional charges.
