The HLD2600F is a molded case circuit breaker from Eaton’s C Series of circuit protection devices. The purchase of such component is inevitable if the users want a safe and reliable system that consists of many pieces of electronic equipment. The right circuit protection solution will save equipment and reduce the costs that could arise from repairing the damage caused by current overloads and short circuits. This Eaton C Series offers a variety of different devices and the users can choose from up to 8 different protective frames. Every frame supports a certain amperage range and there are devices that are available with different numbers of poles and different voltage ratings. Also, the Series C circuit breakers are made for the domestic market and they are marked as UL and CSA only rated devices with a standard size and standard accessories that are pre-installed in the factory.
The HLD2600F (HLD type) circuit breaker is a 2-pole component with an L frame and a fixed thermal/fixed magnetic trip type. The interrupting rating of this model is 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC and it is 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, while its voltage rating is at 600 Volts AC or 250 Volts DC. In addition to that, the frequency rating of the circuit breaker is 50 to 60 Hertz and its continuous Ampere rating at 40 degrees Celsius is 600 Amps. Generally, the HLD type circuit breakers have an amperage rating in the range of 300 to 600 Amps. The HLD2600F operates within a temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) as a standard setting and with additional calibration, there is the possibility that it can be adapted for environments with more extreme temperatures. The dimensions of this HLD circuit breaker are proportional and its length, height, and width all measure 209.5 millimeters (8.25 inches). The HLD2600F weighs 6.8 kilograms or 15 pounds.
