The LD3400 is an Eaton Cutler-Hammer C Series molded case circuit breaker. Like the other C Series circuit breakers from Eaton, the LD3400 comes with a designation of ED8 and it is an instantaneous-only motor circuit protector. The LD3400 is a 3-pole protector with 400 Amps and it runs maximum voltage of 600 Volts or 250 Volts DC. The kAIC rating at 480 Volts AC is 35 kAIC and the circuit breaker has a shunt trip and undervoltage options. The terminals included with the LD3400 include the line or load terminals with two options for the trip unit, including adjacent thermal and adjacent magnetic trip units. The module comes with no provision for neutral pole but it has an alarm switch option.
The shipping dimensions for the LD3400 measure 7.5 x 10.75 x 13 inches and it has a net weight of 20 pounds.
