The LD3600 is an L-frame 3-pole fixed thermal-magnetic circuit breaker from Eaton / Cutler-Hammer. The breaker can be used in electrical systems that have a maximum current of 600 amperes a maximum voltage of 600 Volts AC and 250 Volts DC. The LD3600 uses a complete molded case and has line and load terminals. The operating frequency for the LD3600 circuit breaker is between 50 and 60 Hertz. The interrupt rating for the breaker is 65,000 AIC at a voltage of 240 Volts AC and a current rating of 35,000 Amperes at 480 Volts AC. For circuit breakers with an L-frame type like the LD3600, it’s possible to purchase the constituent parts (trip unit, frame, terminals) separately or it can be purchased fully assembled at the factory. When assembled in the factory, the LD3600 and other circuit breakers with an L-frame rating may not support an interchangeable trip unit. The Series C family of molded case circuit breakers from Eaton, which includes the LD3600, can be relied upon to provide circuit protection in a motor control center, a switchboard, a panelboard, or a busway. Series C circuit breakers surpass or meet North American standards.
The LD3600 is CE marked. The tripping mechanism used in the LD3600 functions optimally at a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. The LD3600 accommodates Feed-Thru connections and supports LI-Long-Time and instantaneous functions. The LD3600 can be mounted on a DIN rail or a panel. Additionally, the LD3600 provides a mechanism to select different magnetic multiples and has a manual Push-To-Trip button for inspecting the trip unit manually. The LD3600 is also labeled on its face to reduce wrong connection being initiated.
