The Eaton Cutler-Hammer HND312T106W is an OPTIM 1050 molded case circuit breaker. The device is equipped with the LSIG trip type. This means that it is very flexible when it comes to adjusting levels of protection. This flexibility also means that only professionals are able to handle the device. Only trained maintenance personnel should adjust this device because it protects systems with the highest possible current ratings. It can protect systems rated at up to 1200 Amps. The HND312T106W circuit breaker includes 1 powerful feature -a communication kit. This is a standard option on this module that provides users with the possibility of monitoring the power and the energy parameters, and even the current harmonics.
The UL 489 Interrupting Capacity Ratings for the HND312T106W electronic circuit breaker are 100 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 65 kAIC at 480 Volts AC, and 35 kAIC at 600 Volts AC voltages. The device has an RMS sensing feature. The module will go to the trip position even during an overtemperature event. The long delay pickup can be selected in the range of 0.4 to 10 multiples of the nominal device current. The nominal device current can be changed by installing different rating plugs. For system diagnostic purposes, there are LED indicators on the device. LEDs are also used to send the message to the users about the cause of the trip. The local auxiliary and bell alarm contact is also included as the standard option on this device. The HND312T106W has a width of 8.25 inches (209.6 millimeters), a height of 16.00 inches (406.4 millimeters), and a depth of 5.50 inches (139.7 millimeters).
