The RDC320T96W is an R Frame molded case circuit breaker which is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. To install this circuit breaker, users must make sure that the input voltages are within the specified limits that are mentioned in the manual. The users need to make sure there is no visible damage to the equipment and inspect the RDC320T96W circuit breaker before mounting. Perform the inspection by removing the screws and the cover. Note that there is a cover interlock feature which causes the breaker to trip when the cover is removed and it must be reset before resuming operation. When the inspection is finished, reinstall the cover and secure the screws with the specified torque. Install the warning label on the device as specified.
Connect the leads of the line and load wires and make sure the connections are secured. Check the mounting and the terminals before reinstalling the cover and the RDC320T96W circuit breaker nameplates. The circuit breaker should be inspected from time to time to ensure a longer life for the device. There should not be any dust, dirt, moisture, or grease on the surface of the device to prevent any contamination. The users must complete the necessary field testing before handing over the equipment to the users. This is a 3-pole circuit breaker with a maximum current rating of 2000 Amps and the trip type of the device is a Digitrip RMS 910 without terminals. The RDC320T96W must be installed by users who are familiar with the system to ensure the safe and correct installation of the circuit breaker.
