The EGH3050FFG is an EG frame circuit breaker from the G Series of the circuit breakers which are manufactured for global applications by the Eaton Corporation. The maximum rated current of the EGH3050FFG circuit breaker is 50 Amps and the circuit breaker has 3 poles. When performing the installation, make sure the power supply to the system is turned off and that the downtime is planned for the system. The users must plan the installation and inform the customer of the expected downtime. The users must also follow the installation instructions provided by the manufacturer and ensure that the minimum clearances are met for easy access to the device. There are also the standard line and load terminations.
Make sure that the wires are secured in the terminals when installing the device. The operating mechanism of the EGH3050FFG is such that there are 3 operating positions for the trip switch. The on position is for the normal operation, the off position is for the power-off mode, and the tripped position is for the tripped mode is when there is an overcurrent or overload condition when the current passing through the EGH3050FFG is rated at more than the rated current. These conditions can be viewed and identified by the 3 colors which are red for on, white for tripped, and green for on.
