The EGS3015FFG is a 3-pole Series G Molded Case Circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton. It is equipped with a fixed magnetic and fixed thermal trip type and it has a maximum amperage rating of 15 Amps. Its performance at 600 Volts AC is 22 kAIC. It is ideal for providing main and branch circuit protection for conductors and connected devices in 3-phase systems. The EGS3015FFG circuit breaker features a state-of-the-art contact design that offers improved circuit protection. The thermal element on each of its 3 poles automatically trip the breaker when fault currents are detected in the system, and its glass-polyester enclosure protects its components from environmental elements such as moisture.
Eaton’s EGS3015FFG circuit breaker offers the users a simple mode of operation via its toggle switch that also serves as a status indicator. Apart from the switch, a tiny window on the side of the switch indicates the breaker’s status as on, off, or tripped as red, green, and white, respectively. Standard terminals are available on the line and load ends of the EGS3015FFG circuit breaker and its simple design makes it easy to seamlessly integrate this breaker into new and existing protective and control systems alongside other devices. Multiple external and internal accessories can be installed on the EGS3015FFG circuit breaker at the same time and interphase barriers can be used to increase the clearance between its three poles. To prevent accidental contact, terminal shields can be installed on it to provide additional insulation for its terminations.
