The JGE3150FAGC is a molded case circuit breaker manufactured by Eaton Cutler-Hammer. The Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker is part of Series G of the Eaton JGE molded case circuit breakers. The Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker features fixed thermal and adjustable magnetic trips, 3 poles, 150 Amps of current, 600 Volts AC power at 50 to 60 Hertz, 65 kAIC at 240 Volts AC, 25 kAIC at 480 Volts AC and 18 kAIC at 600 Volts AC interrupting ratings. The Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker is contained in a JG frame enclosure. The Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker handle can be externally locked in the off position by using the key interlock. When the key interlock is locked, the movement of the handle is blocked by an extended deadbolt. The Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker can be equipped with a cylinder lock which internally blocks the circuit breaker trip bar when it is in the trip position to avoid switching the circuit breaker on unnecessarily. The Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker cylinder lock is factory-mounted on the left pole of the cover.
The Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker has a keeper nut which is inserted into the line or load conductor and serves as a threaded adapter in order for the conductor to integrate with a ring terminal. Accidental contact with live line side terminations is prevented by a terminal shield. The terminal shield is made of high dielectric insulating material and fastens over the circuit breaker front terminal access openings. The rear fed terminal makes it easy for cable connection at the backside of the Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker instead of the topside. The Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker is configured with an undervoltage release mechanism which controls the voltage and trips the Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker when the voltage is reduced to between 70 and 35% of the solenoid coil rating. The undervoltage release mechanism is reset by the tab located on the tripping lever when the normal voltage has been restored and the Cutler-Hammer JGE3150FAGC circuit breaker handle is placed in the reset position.
