The JGE3225FAG is an Eaton Cutler-Hammer manufactured device that is used for the protection of circuits from the electrical damage that is caused due to overcurrents. It prevents damage to the circuit by breaking down the circuit when it detects an abnormal current in the system. This device belongs to Series G of the Eaton circuit breakers. The JGE3225FAG comes inside an aluminum body with a JG protective frame. The magnetic trip in this device is adjustable while the thermal trip is kept constant. It is a 3-poled device and it has an 80% rating. The factory set maximum running temperature of the device is 40 degrees Celsius.
The JGE3225FAG meets different ratings and standards for the electrical and mechanical device like the IEC, CSA, and the UL standards. It has also passed the CE compliance standards. The running frequency of the device falls between 50 and 60 Hertz, depending on the load. Line and load terminals are both present in this device. It comes with built-in ground fault protection which works for a current of up to 20 Amps. The undervoltage release and auxiliary switch are optional features in this model.
