The NGH308033E is a 3-Pole Series-G Cutler-Hammer High Interrupting Capacity Circuit Breaker with a Digitrip RMS 310+ Electronic Trip Unit manufactured by the Eaton Corporation. It is rated at 800 Amps continuous current, 480 Volts AC maximum operating voltage, 65 kA at 480 Volts AC and 100 kA at 240 Volts AC interrupting capacity, NG-Frame. Like all NG-Frame circuit breakers manufactured by Eaton, the NGH308033E molded case circuit breaker is suitable for reverse feed use and it can be used to provide high-performance equipment control as well as overload, short circuit, fault currents, and overheat protection for a wide array of equipment and conductor within its rating in different industries.
Imperial end tapped terminals are available on the line and load terminals of the NGH308033E circuit breaker and it incorporates the best arc extinguishing technologies. Its fully adjustable Digitrip RMS 310+ Electronic Trip Unit provides microprocessor-based true RMS sensing to improve its protective systems and to prevent nuisance trips better. It also features a test jack and push-to-trip button for the trip unit. Its rugged glass-polyester casing protects all its components from moisture, dust, and fungus in different environments. The NGH308033E circuit breaker features a toggle type switch operating mechanism which also indicates its on, off, or tripped status and it supports the use of many accessories such as alarm switches, auxiliary switches, shunt trips, under-voltage release mechanisms, meters, and the cause of trip displays. Failure to match the NGH308033E circuit breaker with equipment in within its rating can result in limited performance, damage, or injury to personnel.
