The Cutler-Hammer/Eaton SVX004A1-2A1B1 SVX independent drive comes from SVX9000 product family of compact, configurable and modular adjustable frequency drives. The SVX9000 series offers modern solutions for applications that include variable speed. One of the main advantages of these drives is the possibility of configuring the drive according to application requirements through the use of option cards. The modular design of these drives will provide a significant cost reduction because these authentic devices are convenient and have interchangeable control units. In addition to that, the SVX drives can be easily programmed and tested locally or remotely with the usage of a keypad and simple functions. Usage of the SVX9000 drive can simplify the control systems and eliminate the need of having a PLC as part of your system thanks to versatile 9000 Engine block-programming software tool.
The SVX004A1-2A1B1 drive has an FR5 frame type and includes a three-phase EMC H input. According to specification from Eaton, the modification of the drive includes standard boards and the drive also features brake chopper functionality.
