The SVX020A1-4A1B1 unit is a product of the Eaton Cutler-Hammer SVX 9000 drive series. It is an adjustable frequency drive that has both 208 Volt and 480 Volt voltage models, operating at 20 Horsepower. This module has an FR6 Frame size and is rated for a NEMA Type 1 and 12 enclosure type; it contains eight inputs and four outputs along with an alphanumeric keypad, standard boards, a 3-phase input option, a 50 to 60 Hertz frequency supply, and an internal brake chopper circuit. It also has a sensorless flux control that achieves the precision of closed-loop motor control for almost every speed range. The SVX020A1-4A1B1 drive is known to automatically identify the motor parameters for both u/f and sensorless vector mode by keeping track of changing in parameters over time.
Depending upon the size of the drive and the motor, its torque rise time is less than 10 minutes, has steady speed error of less than 5%, and is immune to the resonance vibrations. With the special applications, it also gives a maximum output frequency of 7200 Hertz. The SVX020A1-4A1B1 drive has a starting torque of 200% and comes as a suitable option for the high-speed applications and multi-motor drive systems. With sensorless vector technology couples with the ASIC circuit features and an adaptive motor model, the SVX020A1-4A1B1 drive also serves as a module and a compact solution for variable speed applications. Moreover, the vector control of this drive is carried out in the system of flux coordinated that is quite immune to motor parameters and measurement variations.
