The SVX060A1-4A1N1 is an AC drive from the SVX9000 series of products which is manufactured by Cutler-Hammer, a division of the Eaton Corporation. This AC drive is originally designed to recognize the motor parameters and to monitor any and all the parameter changes over long stretches of time. This compact drive is housed in a NEMA 1 IP21 enclosure and it has a height of 62.99 centimeters (24.8 inches), a length of 25.65 centimeters (10.1 inches), and a depth of 23.62 centimeters (9.3 inches). This FRAME 7 drive is mounted on a panel, and its approximate weight is around 35 kilograms (77.2 pounds). The SVX060A1-4A1N1 requires a three-phase EMC H input ranging between 380 and 500 Volts AC, though the nominal input of the drive is 480 Volts AC. The drive is rated at 60 Horsepower and it has a maximum frequency of 320 Hertz. This drive does not have a closed loop, but it uses the Open Loop Sensorless Vector Control to control the motor.
The drive features DC injection dynamic braking, but it has no brake chopper. The SVX060A1-4A1N1 is operated by using the keypad which is included with the drive and which can be removed. The control panel of the drive is a standard alphanumeric LCD with 3 lines which displays the status of the drive as well as any faults or delays in its operation. As a result, the drive can easily be operated from the factory floors. When it comes to torque, this outstanding drive causes a very low ripple, and it is resistant to vibrations resulting from resonance. The starting current and starting torque of this drive is very high (200% torque and 2.0 x IH current) which adds to the overall appeal of the SVX060A1-4A1N1. All of the aforementioned qualities, along with the fact that the maximum output frequency of the drive is 7200 Hertz, suggest that this performance drive is perfect for use with high-speed applications.
