The D100AF10 is a part of the troubleshooting and the maintenance mechanism for the programmable controllers. The D100AF10 is an Eaton Cutler-Hammer product that aids the effective working of the programmable logic controllers. As the main power fuse for the D100 series controllers, the D100AF10 helps with troubleshooting. The D100AF10 is a 250 Volt, 3.0A rated fuse. The D100 controllers have two user-serviceable fuses, and the D100AF10 is one of them. The other one, with ratings of 0.5A and 250 Volts, is called the DC output fuse. These two fuses can be accessed by removing the same cover that is removed to replace the battery. It consists of a single crew for the 20A and 40A controllers as well as the two screws for the 14 I/O controllers. The replacement of the fuse is not a significant issue since these fuses are easily accessible. In the 20A and 40A controller, the D100AF10 is located on the Input Board with all the input LEDs. The fuse is just adjacent to the edge of the board and can be accessed by merely removing the cover, whereas in the 14 I/O controller, the D100AF10 is located on the circuit board and is accessible when the cover from the controller is removed.
The D100 family includes the programmers and the controllers and various analog capable models, but the D100AF10 is necessary for the completion of certain tasks. The spare fuse is an essential in the troubleshooting and maintenance kit as the need can be felt anytime.
