About 2711-K10G15L1

The 2711- K10G15L1 is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) product from Allen-Bradley with ControlNet communication capability. It belongs to the obsolete PanelView series of 2711 PanelView 1000 Standard Operator Terminal. Human Machine Interface are used for real-time process visualization to enable control between user and process or machine. The hardware’s rugged design also features a modular compact design. The 2711- K10G5L1 is pre-installed with an HMI screen, a keypad interface, communication port and internal memory. The built-in features can be installed with add-on components to further improve and enhanced the functionality of the HMI hardware. The HMI screen can be installed with anti-glare overlays to improve screen visualization. The keypad component may have a compatible function key legend insert to serve as reference to the button function. Internal memory specifically the non-volatile memory can be expanded up to 32MB of flash memory to be able to hold larger applications or save process graphics such as bitmap images. The built-in communication port can be partnered with an external Allen-Bradley device to be able to communicate with larger networks or other protocols. The built-in screen is a monochrome screen with 10-inch size. It has a resolution of 640 x 480 and display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.). The Keypad interface has Sixteen function keys that is designed to be actuated up to 1 million presses. Each button in the keypad can be individually assigned to different task. The ControlNet communication port enables communication to partner automation devices in the plant floor area. The HMI is powered by a DC source with rated supply of 18-32VDC. When installing the terminal, ensure that the designated panel cut-out is observed. The panel cutout for K10G15L1 is 257 mm x 338 mm (10.11 in. x 13.29 in.). Observe 2-inch clearance to all sides of the terminal for air flow, wiring and insertion of add-on components.
