This particular product, 2711-K6C5 has been discontinued on 12/15/2014. PanelView 600 is ideal for use in small applications that requires interfacing to a machine or processes. This compact Human Machine Interface (HMI) product is capable of providing intuitive user defined operation as well as providing the capability to implement control with a single machine or across a number of partner devices. The HMI device is equipped with a 5- inch display with Color active matrix TFT. Colored screen allows implementing of color-coded graphics to show current state of a device or equipment aside from using symbols to deliver the same information. The screen has a modular backlight with a lifespan of 50,000 hr 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F) with appropriate replacement part number of 2711-NL5. The 2711-B6C5 rated power supply input range is 85-264V AC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz. The terminal has Two RS232 ports. The primary RS232 supports DH485 protocol in peer to peer topology. Multi-node communication can be implemented with the use of 1747-UIC. The secondary RS232 printer port for printing alarm list and messages. Process interaction can be made through the terminal’s Keypad assembly. A relatively compact memory size of RAM amounts to 170KB and 240KB non-volatile memory. The non-volatile memory hosts the terminal application and files which enabled uploading or project back-up. Terminal accessories include antiglare overlays, function key legend inserts, backlight replacements, Real-time clock modules, mounting hardware, Power supply terminal block and interface modules, communication cables and upload / download cables. HMI applications are made using the PanelBuilder32 software. The same software is used to download the application to the terminal. The 2711-K6C5 hosts the application and initiated runtime mode for actual operator and machine or process interaction.
