The 2711-K10C8 is a PanelView 1000 which belongs to the Bulletin 2711 PanelView Standard Operator Terminal product family. The unit has a Color active matrix TFT, 10-inch screen size with effective display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.) and resolution of 640 x 480. The terminal has Data Highway Plus (DH+) and RS232 for alarm printing functions. The 2711-K10C has a field replaceable backlight with a lifespan of 50,000 hr. 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F). It has rated power supply input range is 85-264VAC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz. The 2711-K10C8 has a Stainless-steel domed membrane keypad interface. Sixteen (16) assignable function keys (F1 to F16) with actuation lifespan of 1 million presses can be configured for screen navigation, sequence and control triggers, alarm acknowledgment, printing and other parameters. The terminal provides diagnostic messages such as operation status, minor faults and input errors and operator dialogs especially process confirmation. The 2711-K10C20 printer port support printing of triggered messages, triggered state of multistate indicators, alarm messages and alarm list. Any IBM character enhanced printer can be used for this feature. The 2711-K10C8 PanelView 1000 is configurable using the PanelBuilder32 software. The terminal operation supports a variety of design elements for use in creating process visualization. Design graphic display with the software’s library of elements such as Pushbuttons, Selector switches, Screen Selectors, Data Entry objects, Information displays, Alarm diagnostics and a variety of drawing elements ranging from basic shapes, custom graphics, standard ISA symbols and bitmap images. The operator terminal’s memory is composed of a Random Access Memory (RAM) is 310 KB and an 1008 KB non-volatile memory. The non-volatile memory can be expanded with the use of an ATA memory card with memory options ranging from 2MB to 32 flash memory. Operator terminal accessories include antiglare overlays, function key legend inserts, backlight replacements, Real-time clock modules, mounting hardware, Power supply terminal block and interface modules, communication cables and upload / download cables.
